The Parthenon in Nashville, TN

When planning this short getaway, I prioritized finding ten of the best places to take pictures in Nashville. One of my favorite things to do on vacation is take pictures. Photos are the only thing you can bring back from a trip that lasts forever besides souvenirs. However, t-shirts fade, and shot glasses ultimately break, so pictures are the best souvenirs.

Going to a new city and exploring its photo spots is also an excellent way to become familiar with the location and experience the culture and feel of a town. I started my photo locations with The Parthenon at 2500 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37203.

It was a stormy day, but I didn’t let that stop me from exploring all the photo spots Nashville offers. When it comes to where to take pictures in Nashville, don’t worry, I’ve got you covered!

Here are the 10 best places to take pictures in Nashville.

Photography Tip

Google the date, city, and sunrise time in each city you visit. For example, I visited Nashville on February 9th, so I searched “February 9th Nashville sunrise” and determined that if I wanted the place all to myself, I needed to arrive by 7:00 a.m. You could do the same thing for sunset, but expect more people at each location during golden hour.

It was a short and rainy trip, but finding ten places to take pictures in Nashville made the journey and the weather worth it (eleven places if you count The Parthenon). I didn’t even scratch the surface of all the murals and photo spots Nashville offers, so I must come back and visit soon.
